Catholic Charismatic Community Playing Role in Saving Historic New Orleans Church

This is very good news not only for this historic Uptown Catholic Church, but also a nice new path for what has been a painful and messy situation.

I don't know anything about the charismatics, but I always felt a real sadness about the closing of OLOGC. Such a shame to see such beautiful churches shuttered. I realize that old ethic divisions are no more, and that population density uptown - let alone Catholic population density - has gone down. It's still sad.

Great story of renewal. Glad to hear.

I am so happy that this Church has some added support. It really is part of the cultural heritage of the City that is not exactly that cheap or easy to maintain with people so I think this will so so much help.
