I took two Classes under the "Torture" Memo Guy

To be more specific enhanced interrrogation. He was a good guy and teacher. I have been waiting for the local papers to have this dawn on them

Former LSU professor at center of torture scandal
A former faculty member of LSU's law school is at the center of the ongoing torture scandal. U.S. District Judge Jay Bybee, who served on the faculty at LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law Center from 1991-98, is under fire for his role in the unfolding torture scandal. Bybee, as a Bush administration lawyer, signed legal memorandums that allowed harsher interrogation practices being used on suspected terrorists—practices some insist crossed the line into torture. Bybee, who taught courses in administrative law, basic civil law and constitutional law at LSU, is defending himself, arguing that the memorandums were a "good faith analysis of the law" that defined the difference between harsh treatment and torture, according to the New York Times. He is now serving as a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals in the 9th Circuit

Prof Bybee for the record in my view was a man of great integrity
