Don't Make Law Enforcement in Mamou Louisiana Angry

GRAND MAMOU
Oh, moi j' m'en va' à Grand Mamou.Mon j' m'en va' aussi tout seul mais en jonglant à ça t'as fait.Si tu voudrais mais t'en r'venir avec moi à Grand Mamou,J'serais content de t' avoir pour ma femme.
Oh, petite chérie, vilaine manière,Moi j' connais mais ça t'as fait tu vas pleurer un jour à v'nir.Eh, moi j' m'en va' dans les ch'mins aussi tout seul!Eh, moi j' m'en va' à Grand Mamou.
~~~~~~~~0h, I'm going to big Mamou.I'm going so lonely while thinking of what you have done.If you'd want to come back with me to big Mamou,I'd be happy to have you for my wife.
Oh, little darling, with your ugly ways, I know you'll cry some day for what you've done. Oh, I'm wandering the roads, so lonely! 0h, I'm going back to big Mamou.
It appears not all things are so happy in Big Mamou Louisiana. See Kew-kew-kew! What's wrong with Mamou?
To be fair these are just allegations of course and just because there is a lawsuit does not make them true.. Still one aspect of rural life is one is often at the mercy of some pretty petty local law enforcement agencies that are out of sight and out of mind of the big city papers.
Update-
I must say this teatment does not exactly sound like the Gulag
"The lawsuit goes on to say that Simmons was later driven to the Mamou jail, where he was allegedly placed in an empty cell and was not offered food, water or medication. About a half-hour later, he was brought to the parish jail in Ville Platte and allowed to bond out."
You should know that the plaintiff in the lawsuit was arrested on a warrant issued by the parish district attorney. This was not done on a whim by the police chief..Additionally, have you inquired as the the plantiff's prior criminal history or the nature of the statements he made?
