It is pretty amazing I am defending the ex Senator from Penn. Before his supposed heresy I never really liked him. Even after it I never really did. Hell I find him a pompous ass at times .These gut theories were later confirmed to me by a Friend that worked for majority leader at the time.
But even though I thought Rick was likely a sort of a jerk I never thought is pro life values were fake. I found myself defending this guy even though after the years I was not a huge fan
The whole Specter thing has brought this forth again. Wheat & Weeds pretty much echos my thoughts on this. See
